	I am a member of the Solar Activity Prediction Research Group of NAOC. In general, the aim of my research is to develop methods to predict prominent solar explosive phenomena, such as solar X-ray flares, solar energetic particles (SEPs) and coronal mass ejections (CMEs).
Currently, the emphasis of my research is on the nonlinear force-free field (NLFFF) extrapolation algorithm of the coronal magnetic field using the photospheric vector magnetic field data as the bottom boundary condition. To understand the physical mechanisms of the activity phenomena in the solar corona, an important step is to find out the underlying 3D structures of the coronal magnetic fields. By utilizing the latest vector magnetic field data of solar photosphere observed by both the space-based telescopes (Hinode, SDO, etc.) and ground-based telescopes, and employing the nonlinear force-free field extrapolation algorithm as the primary modeling method, we investigate the 3D configuration characters of the coronal magnetic field, analyze their relationships to the solar eruptive activities, and try to understand the physical processes and the trigger mechanisms of these eruptive phenomena. A prediction model for solar activities is expected to be constructed based on the 3D configuration characters of the coronal magnetic field.
	I was born in Henan Province, China on Mar. 30, 1974. I graduated from Physics Department of East China Normal University in Jul. 1994 (from Sep. 1990 to Jul. 1994 at ECNU). I got my PhD in Theoretical Physics at Beijing Normal University in Jan. 2003 (from Sep. 1997 to Jan. 2003 at BNU). In Apr. 2003, I joined the Solar Activity Prediction Research Group of NAOC as Assistant Professor, and as Associate Professor from Apr. 2005 (CURRENT POSITION).
	From Jan. 2007 to Mar. 2007, I stayed at Kwasan and Hida Observatories, Kyoto University as a postdoctoral researcher.
